This topic is about Melchizedek and the person who met Abraham in the Old Testament. Later on, people started making sacrifices, and the first ones to do this were Abel and then Noah, according to the Bible. In another part of history, during the second world, Melchizedek came and was both a Priest and a King. Eventually, the job of being a priest was given to Aaron and his sons/generation. However this Aaronic priesthood ended when the Jewish era finished. Moses’ uncle was named Jethro, and his title was Raguel. The last person to receive the role of priesthood was Jesus Christ not according to Aaron but according to Melchizedek, which made him both a King and a Priest. This same role will also be given to The Church – Body of Christ.
